Our client, located in Ingersoll ON, is in search of a Industrial Electrician to join their team. -Must be able to work all three shifts rotation-$43.
85 / hour with a shift premium of $0.85 / hour for afternoons and $1.00 / hour for midnights. Perform mechanical maintenance on machinery, install, dismantle, move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints or other drawings in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities : * Identify and diagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns* Apply proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal work, machining, troubleshooting and analytical problem solving.
- Dismantle, assemble / install, and move machinery efficiently with precision* Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve and troubleshoot various types of equipment in a manufacturing setting* Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions* Conduct PM programs according to standards* Perform preventative maintenance and trouble shooting* Recommend solutions to routine and unique equipment problems* Responsible for equipment changeover, set up, take down and relocation of* Response to equipment problems in a timely & customer oriented manner* Sound knowledge of all safety standards, policies and procedures* All other work as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor / or other authorized management personsSkill / Effort Requirements :
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Experience with CNC Machines, Lathes, Gearboxes, Heat treat equipment and Robotics
- 433A licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic (Red Seal); Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - mandatory
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Outlook
- Proficient at operating lift trucks, hoists and using power tools during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Able to follow instructions and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
