Carpenters And Apprentices

We are looking for Carpenters and Apprentices for a full time position on a project in Surrey paying up to $38 / hr

Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Carpenters or Apprentice Carpenters for various construction sites. As a Carpenter, you will meet daily with the foremen and superintendent to focus on specific tasks.

Your day will start with a toolbox meeting to assign tasks. Your responsibilities will include reading blueprints, engaging in tilt-up construction, forming panels, footings, slabs, retaining walls, stairs, and completing layouts.

You will also assist in various forms of formwork.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience in construction as a Carpenter
• Experience with Concrete Formwork
• Posses their own tools and tool belt + PPE
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to get to site (not all sites are transit accessible)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Nice to Have Experience :

• Tilt up experience
• Red Seal or registered Apprentice
• Industrial construction experience
• Telehandler / zoom boom experience

Payrate :

$26 / hr - $38 / hr
