Responsibilities

Registered Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Burlington, ON - Healthcare

• Handle hazardous IV compounds in a sterile environment with a negative pressure cabinet.
• Collaborate on compounding protocols under supervision.
• Manage compounding documentation, schedules, and liaise with couriers.
• Thoroughly clean sterile environment per protocols.
• Review and ensure prescription accuracy.
• Oversee supplies and maintain medication inventory.
• Coordinate with the pharmacy team for orders and double checks.
• Ensure correct prescriptions and escalate issues.
• Work with patient programs to fulfill pharmacy duties.
• Process billing, claims, and maintain records accurately.
• Enter prescription data and handle calls for pharmacists.
• Manage medication inventory and shipping.

Qualifications

Registered Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Burlington, ON - Healthcare

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in ON and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy
• 6 months + of experience with sterile compounding is mandatory
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent service for all patients
• Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
