POSITION SUMMARY
The Collaborative Planning Forecasting Replenishment (CPFR) Analyst position is focused on the management of customer inventory replenishment and demand forecasts at the SKU level leveraging internal and customer-specific tools.
This customer-facing role works closely with the customer, sales, demand / supply planning, and logistics to drive forecast alignment, that ultimately maximizes customer service, on-shelf availability, and smooth promotional execution.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY
- Key Customer SC Liaison ability to leverage customer data & relationships to drive forecast alignment, improved customer forecast accuracy, optimize growth & execution.
- Internally, provide analysis to the broader Walmart Sales / Supply Chain teams by delivering actionable insights in order to help build accurate sales / customer demand forecasts and drive sustainable sales growth and supply chain efficiency.
- Assistance in forecast alignment / demand planning through trend analysis, gap analysis, analysis of historical sales performance, inventory levels, promotional plans and market intelligence all to be presented in a compelling manner.
- Proficient use of the Customer’s data sharing tools
- Where gaps to plans are identified, CPFR Analyst is expected to recommend strategic counter measures. Understand customer specific needs and help facilitate / translate into actionable recommendations.
- Key performance indicators for this position include, but are not limited to, Customer In-Stock percentage, Fill Rate, Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Event Performance, & OTIF.
- Facilitate the development and integration of Customer Data / Requirements with JMS data to drive data driven strategies & recommendations (SSBI)
- Manage the implementation of Customer Specific Initiatives
- Lead monthly customer meetings & preparing a monthly customer newsletter.
- Responsible for budgeting and monitoring customer fines & penalties related to fill rate, non-compliance and OTD. Act as a liaison between other Supply Chain functions to implement action plan to address growing fines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate Degree / College Diploma or relevant work experience
- 3+ years of analyst / forecasting / planning or relevant Supply Chain / CPG experience.
- Excellent data management and analytical skills are required; ability to present data in a succinct and relevant way, to help drive recommendations at customer & internally
- Computer savvy advanced excel and adept with Powerpoint
- Experience leveraging customer-specific data systems is an asset / Specifically Walmart’s Retail Link & GRS tools
- Ability & expectation to travel to customer (within GTA) 1x times per month
