This position will appeal to a CPA who enjoysthe intellectual challenge of technical analysis and theopportunity to work closely with our highperforming team and ourentrepreneurial clients.
The ideal candidate hasa proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a teamenvironment assisting in complex tax planning reviewing tax returnspreparing technical memos supervising others and meeting withclients lawyers and other advisers.
Eligiblecandidates have three years of tax experience after qualifying as aCPA. Excellent verbal and written communication skills areessential.
Whatyou will do :
- Leadingclient tax engagements.
- Working closely with aPartner as a senior team member on tax planning work forclients.
- Planning and organizing teams for thepreparation of tax returns and conducting and presenting taxresearch.
- Reviewing the work of junior stafffor accuracy and completeness.
- Become part ofthe tax engagement team in servicing the planning and complianceneeds of clients.
- Providing ongoing support andmentoring for the professional development ofstaff.
- Work with other office members inattracting new work to thefirm.
QualificationsSkills and Experience :
- CPAdesignation
- Enrolled or completed the CPAIndepth Tax course
- 3 years of experienceworking on tax engagements (planning compliance returns) withprivate companies
- Independent highly motivatedand a selfstarter
- Multitasker and can managemultiple clients simultaneously
- Excellentcommunication skills (both written andverbal)
