Account Manager - Food Service

Under the supervision of the Director of Sales - Foodservice, the Account Manager acts as a sales representative for our company with the distributors, the chain accounts, industrial and the end users for the Ontario Market.
- Maintain business relations with the current clients of the company; - Conduct customer business reviews, sales meeting presentations, food shows, sales promotions and any distributor driven marketing activities as appropriate;
- Assist the distributors in the training of their sales representatives and end users; - Develop new business opportunities, among both distributors, regional chain accounts and end users, in the assigned territory;
- Negotiate, under the supervision of the Director of Sales, contractual agreements; - Anticipate, problem solve, and communicate;
- Manage complaints as required with customer service department; - Grow profitable sales and develop new business within defined customer base;
- Forecast, budget and plan annual volume objectives by customer; - Deliver results against an annual budget target. - University Degree or College Diploma;
- Minimum 3 years of Foodservice sales experience; - Good negotiation skills; - Team player; - Skilled communicator; - Strong relationship builder;
- Broker or Distributor experience an asset; - Ontario travel required; - Candidate will work home based; - Candidate must be autonomous, driven and able to work remotely with minimum supervision. #NOR23
