Contract : *3-6 * *months contract* (depending on your availability ) with possibility of *extension. Short term contracts can also be discussed! *Location : Duncan, BC* Ladysmith, BC* Campbell River, BC*Start Date : ASAP*Compensation : $45.
00 per hour *+ travel allowance + accommodation + weekly allowance* *Responsibilities and duties : Performs assessments.* Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
- Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures* Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.*Qualifications : Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.* Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.* Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
