About the Company

Our client, subsidiary of an Automotive Corporation, provides retail, leasing and wholesale financial services across Canada, is looking to hire for a Data Steward Data Governance.

About the Opportunity

Data governance is the new initiative with the client and currently they are supported by their US counterpart for data governance they use Informatica.

About You

2-3 years of demonstrated experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management, and / or master data management tools.

Experience with any data governance tool (Informatica, Collibra, Atlan, Alation, Talend)

Proven experience in understanding stakeholder stakeholders’ requirements

Strong SQL experience - stored procedures, writing complex queries, indexing, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Data Management or Information Technology (from anywhere)

Be able to commute - 3 days onsite to Markham

Bonus Items :

Financial or insurance or automobile domain

Does not want to see : Interviewed one candidate she lacked data governance concepts and limited exp with DG tools with a bachelor’s degree in in IT or Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Data Management or Information Technology (from anywhere)

Working hours / shifts / OT expected : 8 : 30am to 5pm

Salary Range

$90,000 / year
