Senior Engineering Project Manager
DILAX is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to strengthen our team. Are you an engineering graduate looking for an interesting challenge?

We are looking for a qualified individual to manage the delivery of our solutions to our customers. You will be responsible for most aspects of the projects including interaction with colleagues at our head office in Germany to ensure delivery timelines are met, day-to-day management of customer and supplier communication, meetings, timelines, documentation, etc.
Regular travel in North America is required.
Requirements :
- Manage delivery of hardware and software solutions to our customers
- Oversee the day-to-day progress of projects regarding time, budget, scope and quality and apply processes to report progress status, key metrics and deliverables.
- Preparing project-related and other documentation (IDR, PDR, FDR, etc.)
- Acceptance testing (FAI, FAT, SAT)
- Coordinate the internal work between the teams located at different physical locations
- Supplier management from qualification through post-delivery service including meetings at production facilities
- Providing customer training / support
Other tasks may include :
- Assistance in RFI, RFP responses
- Attending trade shows
- Attending occasional meetings at head office
Essential qualifications :
- Graduate in Engineering or other related discipline
- 5+ years’ relevant experience managing long-term projects through all phases
- Proven ability to work in a small team
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, MS Visio
- Willingness to travel occasionally with assignments typically around 3-5 days
- Valid automobile driver's license and passport, with no restrictions on USA travel
Assets :
- Working knowledge of Databases (SQL Server, Oracle), Java, networking and basic server applications
- Knowledge of issue tracking tools and source code management tools (Jira, Gitlab )
- Knowledge of public transit scheduling, including HASTUS and GTFS
- Knowledge of IEEE1558 software documentation standard
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools including ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Experience with public transit technologies
- Experience in safety documentation for the rail industry
- PMP certification
- German language, written and spoken
