Software Engineer (Full stack)

Overview

Microsoft Teams is the hub for team collaboration in Office 365 that integrates people, content, and tools modern workplace teams need to be more engaged and effective.

In the Teams Platform's Conversational AI & Extensibility team, we develop client-side extensibility hooks, backend APIs, services, and SDKs (Software Development Kits).

Our focus is on enabling ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) and citizen-developers to create engaging conversational AI experiences that leverage cards, messaging, and the latest proprietary and open multi-modal LLMs (Large Language Models).

We're looking for Software Engineers (Full-stack) with a passion for building large scale web services and state of the art web applications.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex problems, interface closely with the developer community and contribute to one of the fastest growing product in Microsoft's history!

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in web technology stacks, UI patterns, Angular, React, JavaScript, Typescript

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing and shipping web-based frontend clients
• Good with Problem solving, debugging, collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with complex single page applications

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $79,600 - CAD $153,000 per year.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.
