About the role

We’re looking for a Manager, Portfolio Analysts and PCO’s , to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here :

The Portfolio Analysts and Project Control officers specialize in tracking project budget, enforcing PMO governance rules, supporting project managers and participating in financial analysis. The manager will support the team and contribute to the development of a strong control framework for the team and for IT and Labs.

Main responsibilities

Ensure the development, implementation, and continuity of an action plan for the team in alignment with the strategic orientations of the company and the IT / Labs division, in a context of performance management, optimization and cross functional synergies.

Implement management and communication practices that promote sound governance, skills development, mobilization, talent retention and diversity, consistent with the company's values.

Specific responsibilities

Coach and support Project Control Officers and Portfolio Analysts; implement and follow up on individual and customized development plans

Optimize resource assignment and allocation to ensure synergy and improve workload distribution

Drive the development and delivery of an appropriate PCO framework

Lead the PMO governance rules enforcement as part of IT project delivery

Ensure the sound application of common processes for the PCOs

Seek opportunities for improvement and optimization in all areas of responsibility

Work collaboratively with the Portfolio managers and IT Finance teams to achieve transformation, assess the potential for continuous improvement and eliminate duplication

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners

Drive the creation of strategies to facilitate project budget control processes covering IT and Labs

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

You have :

Bachelor of Business Administration

A PMP is a strong asset

5-10 years of experience in managing and supporting professionals

Knowledge of PMO governance rules

Very strong modelling skills and ability to discuss financials with non financial colleagues

Ease of adaptation to an evolving environment

Ability to influence

Strategic thinking and ability to challenge the status quo

Excellent communication skills

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
