QA Tester (automation & manual)

Job Description

On behalf of our public sector client, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Developer f for a one-year contract, with possible extension.

This is a remote position, working PST Vancouver time. Work type : 1 year contract, with an option to extend for up to Three (3) One (1) year term. QUALIFICATIONS (Must-haves)

• A minimum of 5-years’ experience developing and implementing solutions for test automation processes, tools, and techniques.
• A minimum of 3-years' experience performing, developing, maintaining and enhancing automated test suites and manual test suites.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing automated test suites using Cypress or Selenium.
• A minimum of 3-years’ Experience working in an agile software development environment using modern technology stacks, tools and techniques, including : RESTful APIs, open-source technologies, continuous delivery, automated testing, microservices-based architecture, and Kubernetes or similar container management platforms.
• Experience coaching and mentoring other quality assurance practitioners to build the team’s capacity.
• Experience with Databases (Postgres, Oracle, etc) and SQL Queries.

Nice to have skills

• Experience working in a scaled agile environment.
• Experience developing test automation solutions within an environment with continuous delivery pipelines.
• Experience with containerization, such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Google cloud.
• Experience providing test automation solutions to ensure compliance with non-functional requirements and established privacy and security standards.
