Currently were looking for a Software QA Tester to lead testing andquality assurance for our clients Water Lifecycle desktop products.

Responsibilities include developing test plans reporting defectscreating regression automation scripts and analyzing failures.

Weare seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to excel in ouragile teamenvironment.

Responsibilities :

• Performfunctional testing (GUI and data) regression testing ongoing systemintegration and periodic build verification tests as part of eachproduct release cycle.
• Assist with creating andkeeping QA documentation up to date.

Communicate detectedissues to the appropriate team member in a professionalmanner.

• Accurately report and manage defectsand work with the Agile Team to prioritize and fixthem.
• Collaborate with product owners anddevelopers to ensure products and enhancements are delivered toquality standards.
• Participate in Agileplanning by identifying risks and providing taskestimation.
• Work with the Agile team onimproving Quality Assurance processes and be an ambassador forquality.
• Make sure project deadlines are metand inform management when they are atrisk.
• Suggest testing processes and procedureimprovements.
• Stay up to speed on newtechnologies and methodologies and use them to improve efficiencyand the quality of products.
• Activelyparticipate in the Agileceremonies.

PreferredQualifications :

• BS inEngineering Computer Science or a related fieldpreferred
• Exposure to GIS and / or use ofgeospatial data.
• Experience working with watersystem modelling.
• Experience managing complexprojects and working with software developmentteams.

Requirements :

• 35years of industry experience working in a fastpaced agile scrumdevelopment environment and working on highperformancehighavailability distributedsystems.
• Experience working withengineeringsoftware.
• Detailedknowledge of software testing principles & bestpractices.
• Indepthknowledge using OpenText (Micro Focus) Unified Functional Testing(UFT) or similar automation applications to develop and executeautomated test scripts for desktopproducts.
• Excellent communication and verbalskills required to interact with end users and to define problemsand propose resolutions.
• Ability to workcollaboratively with team members.
• Excellentattention to detail and analytical skills to perform root causeanalysis of defects in complex software components andservices.
