Job Description
Lead and coordinate product deliveries
- Ensure the delivery of digital products by supporting the delivery team
- Contribute to product roadmap design with product managers
- Support product owners in designing delivery roadmaps for their products
- Make product owners accountable for their products
- Facilitate quarterly prioritization activities with product managers and product owners
- Support employees in taking responsibility for their deliveries
- Monitor our key performance indicators (KPIs) for velocity, budget and quality, in collaboration with product owners and cross-functional team managers.
- Continuously share business context with teams to optimize value creation
- Ensure good relations with external partners
- Contribute to improving R&D department delivery processes
Transform delivery teams
- Manage and / or contribute to the diagnosis and definition of the R&D sector's global transformation strategy
- Inculcate the notion of empowering R&D sector employees to evolve towards autonomous product delivery teams
- Identify the means and indicators to be implemented, taking into account the sector's internal and external challenges
- Contribute to the development of leadership skills
- Define communication and change management strategies
- Facilitate communities of practice, peer reviews and knowledge sharing
Supervise employees in delivery teams
- Coaching, guiding and mobilizing employees to achieve department objectives
- Communicate relevant information to employees
- Assess the workforce needs of the department
- Support employees in their development plans
- Carry out the management cycle (set objectives, carry out annual appraisals, etc.)
Responsible for managing stakeholders
- Take charge of or contribute to certain governance and strategic committees in collaboration with the scrum masters, products owners and project managers.
- Provide visibility on dashboards and various strategies : deployment, quality, design, in collaboration with POs and Scrum masters.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders
- Gain the support and influence of stakeholders through strategies, data analysis and dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, administration or other relevant experience
- Over 5 years' experience in technology delivery or development, or other relevant experience
- More than 7 years' experience managing professionals
- Experience in software product development
- Major departmental transformation and change management experience
- Fluency in French and English (written / oral).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and relationship building skills.
- Excellent team management skills
