Senior Asset Manager, Equipment Financing

Our Client :

Our client is one of the largest banks in North America, offering a wide range of financial services and products to individuals, businesses, and institutions.

What You Will Achieve in This Role :

The Senior Asset Manager will evaluate equipment values, complete Asset Management Equipment Studies, Credit Addendums (CAs), and manage portfolios and end-of-term processes.

  • Execute business plans, set goals, and develop growth strategies for the unit.
  • Achieve annual sales, revenue, volume, and new customer targets.
  • Utilize CARMA Credit, Jira, Ekip, and other software systems effectively.
  • Coach the equipment finance team, recommending alternatives in structure or pricing.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with industry contacts and associations.
  • Onboard new appraisers and support CBC partners.
  • Conduct Asset Management Equipment Studies to determine various equipment values.
  • Modify purchase options and lease documents as needed.
  • Complete compliance training and adhere to Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
  • Understand the equipment finance market and mitigate risk to the Bank.
  • Apply Banks risk management strategy and address operational risk issues.
  • Deliver exceptional service and continuously improve customer experience and speed to market.
  • Build knowledge of market trends, equipment values, customers, and economic factors.
  • Resolve customer and internal partner issues effectively.
  • Structure creative and competitive solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Respond to business environment changes and establish action plans.
  • Coach team members in developing value-added equipment finance solutions.
  • Promote a positive and diverse workplace environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and facilitate transactions and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners and industry contacts.

What You Must Bring to this Role :

  • 8-10 years in Asset Management, Equipment Leasing, and / or Financial Services.
  • University degree or equivalent; 10-15 years related work experience.
  • Strong equipment knowledge, detail-oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel; organized, and ability to speak French is an asset.
