New Business Administrator
JOB STATEMENT :
Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing new business applications, policy contracts and will provide assistance to the Case Specialists as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Processing applications, policy contracts and delivery requirements;
- Distributing Inforce and new business notices;
- Building strong working relationships with internal and external partners (i.e. Life carrier companies and independent brokers);
- Reviewing daily data feed reports;
- Scanning documents; and
- Providing general office assistance, including switchboard backup.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Post-Secondary education
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Strong customer focus, service orientation and professional acumen
- Excellent communication, organizational and listening skills, and attention to detail
- Dedicated team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Working knowledge of Wealthserv, Lifeguide, and life insurance carriers product software an asset
COMPENSATION :
The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000, commensurate with experience. Employees are also eligible to participate in the group benefits plan starting on their first day of employment.
