New Business Administrator

JOB STATEMENT :

Working in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing new business applications, policy contracts and will provide assistance to the Case Specialists as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Processing applications, policy contracts and delivery requirements;
• Distributing Inforce and new business notices;
• Building strong working relationships with internal and external partners (i.e. Life carrier companies and independent brokers);
• Reviewing daily data feed reports;
• Scanning documents; and
• Providing general office assistance, including switchboard backup.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Post-Secondary education
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Strong customer focus, service orientation and professional acumen
• Excellent communication, organizational and listening skills, and attention to detail
• Dedicated team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently
• Working knowledge of Wealthserv, Lifeguide, and life insurance carriers product software an asset

COMPENSATION :

The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000, commensurate with experience. Employees are also eligible to participate in the group benefits plan starting on their first day of employment.
