Job Description

Our rapidly growing fintech client is looking to add a Sales Manager to their team who will be the crucial link between the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and the sales team.

This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, training sales staff, overseeing staff performance, and ensuring the team is meeting sales targets.

Our client is looking for high energy, highly motivated Sales Manager who is proactive, has a positive attitude, and is driven by a passion for sales excellence and goal attainment while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and actively participate in their implementation
  • Lead weekly sales team meetings.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales activities, including overseeing lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Ensure the sales team adheres to sales processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance and KPIs, implementing improvement plans as needed.
  • Generate data driven reports and recommendations, providing regular updates on sales performance to the CRO and other stakeholders.
  • Own, achieve, and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets through exceptional sales leadership.
  • Be a champion of the client's product - always being up to date with product updates and releases, and effectively communicating these to the sales team
  • Develop comprehensive training programs, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and customer relationship management.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to new and existing sales representatives to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of robust up-to-date documentation for relevant product information, sales processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to provide feedback on product functionality, customer needs, and market demand.

Qualifications :

4+ years of experience in a sales leadership role within the SaaS sector with demonstrated success leading a high performing sales team;

7+ years of overall sales experience

  • Experience in mentoring staff and developing training materials.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and team-building skills, capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving excellence.
  • Experience in generating sales forecasts and analyzing sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using data to inform decisions on sales strategy
  • Fluency in French (considered an asset)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, business, marketing, finance, or related field (considered an asset).
