TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting long-term opportunity for Senior Procurement Manager role to work for an amazing EPCM client on medium to large-size EPCM projects in their Vancouver office.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct all procurement management development activities including quotation requests, negotiation, change management, project execution and close-out etc.
• Perform senior level evaluations, claim reviews, and negotiation
• Manage and oversee procurement management processes in accordance with PPM and PEP
• Supervise and lead all aspects of procurement management activities including material planning, purchasing, logistics etc.
• Support bid evaluation plans
• Responsible for interface management including project controls, contracts, construction, finance, HSE etc.
• Prepare, issue, and present all relevant reports
• Perform other duties as assigned / required

Key Requirements :

• At least 15 years of related procurement management experience in the large-sized EPCM projects
• Technical knowledge associated with procurement management processes
• Prior experience in the home office and field work
• Experience in Mining is required
• Experiencing leading procurement managements activities in large-sized EPCM projects is an asset
• An effective communicator
