Equipment Procurement Manager LMIA assistant
MajorResponsibilities
- Developand execute procurement strategies for the efficient andcosteffective acquisition ofequipment
- Collaborate with businessusers and Project Managers to comprehend equipment requirements andformulate procurement plans aligned with organizationalobjectives
- Identify assess andselect reliable suppliers negotiate contracts for favorable termsand conditions
- Develop a list ofreliable suppliers fostering relationships to ensure consistentproduct quality
- Lead and organizeall purchasing activities to streamline processes enhanceefficiency and reduce leadtimes
- Communicate proactively withinternal stakeholders providing updates on procurement activitiesand addressingconcerns
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Procurement or relateddisciplines
- Minimum of 10 yearsexperience in purchasing equipment for large supermarkets or foodproduction retail chain
- Strongfamiliarity with procuring commercial equipment includingrefrigerators freezers food maker cooler heater fixtureetc
- Strong network of suppliers andmanufacturers in China ismandatory
- Excellent technicalunderstanding of supermarketequipment
- Demonstrated proficiencyin negotiation and communicationskills
- Proficient in both writtenand spoken English ability to communicate in Chinese is anasset
- Ability to workindependently
- Willingness andability to travelfrequently
