Our client, a well-established law firm in Toronto is seeking a Family Law Clerk to join their team!
About the Job
- Creating Financial Statements, Net Family Property Statements, SupportMATE calculations, and Net Worth Statements
- Compiling Financial Disclosure Briefs, including reviewing and organizing supporting documents from clients
- Handling uncontested divorce applications
- Managing tickler / bring forward systems
- Preparing various documents for e-filing
- Assisting with preparations for questionings, Conferences, Mediations / Arbitrations, pre-trials, and trials as needed
- Drafting bills of costs and costs outlines as required
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience as a Family Law Clerk in a law firm
- A law clerk certification
- Experience with Divorcemate
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with great attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Word, including Excel
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision, while valuing teamwork benefits
