Our client provides machines, equipment and supplies for the packaging and container manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Outside Technical Sales Representative to drive business developement.
- Identify and pursue potential customers in the food processing industry;
- Develop and implement sales strategies to reach and expand customer base;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers;
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide on-site product demonstrations;
- Work closely with service technicians to provide technical support;
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product line;
- Negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements;
- Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in CRM system;
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams;
- Attend trade shows, conferences and industry events.
Requirements :
- Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in machinery sales in the food processing industry;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner;
- Excellent relationship building and customer service skills;
- Demonstrated negotiation and closing experience;
- Available to travel throughout Quebec and Ontario;
- Driver's license and access to a car (car allowance provided);
- Bilingual.
