Job Brief

We are adding a Business Development Manager to our client team to lead and drive our HABA (Beauty, Bodycare, Vitamins / Supplements, and Household products) clients’ business in Canada.

As such, this person will bring to the table a strong background in HABA specific products, powerful strategic thinking and strength of execution to deliver incredible results.

This is a unique opportunity to build brands in the Canadian marketplace with an exciting company that puts people first!

To succeed in this critical Sales & Trade Marketing role the individual must possess strong business acumen and an intense focus on the client.

They need to be able to think about the business strategically, pivot when necessary, and execute quickly through our group of sales professionals.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute brand growth strategies to deliver sustainable results, and align other functions to those strategies.
  • Analyzes business, brand, customer data and build strategies and business cases with strong rationale, including translating retail insights to high impact initiatives.
  • Manages and leads development new item launches and expanded distribution of existing SKUs
  • Lead key initiatives including trade promotional campaigns from ideation to execution
  • Oversee trade spending programs and manage client budgets appropriately
  • Maintain regular reporting to client on results and stay aligned on key priorities for their business

Must Haves :

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (Business degree preferred).
  • Previous CPG experience preferred, preferable in HABA (Beauty, Bodycare, Vitamins / Supplements, and Household products).
  • Previous NHP process experience and understanding of clean label requirements preferred.
  • Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong problem solving and sound business judgment; ability to anticipate issues and resolve challenges quickly and effectively with cross-functional team members
  • Demonstrated ability to build brands
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships; build consensus & influence cross functional team members and business partners.
