As a Fraud Manager, you'll team up with our best and brightest to learn, share ideas, execute and create innovative solutions that directly impact our business.

Operating at the center of a new generation of cybersecurity companies, leveraging today's geolocation data to make better risk-based decisions, we are a critical piece of the security infrastructure for some of the world's largest tech companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Key Client's handling multimillion dollar accounts and interfacing and presenting to these customers, from analysts to C suite level.
  • Managing, training and mentoring more junior team members
  • Identify and communicate fraud trends and mitigation tactics, pilot analytics and new detection tools to business stakeholders
  • Recommend solutions and product enhancements based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder fraud needs
  • Respond to investigations from the state police departments and develop a deep relationship with key individuals in regulatory compliance
  • Create alignment on fraud tools, messaging and 'voice' to ensure open communication, collaboration and partnership with internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identifying problems relating to anti-fraud and AML / CFT risks for clients within their reports and programs, and creating meaningful improvements
  • Provide guidance and expertise in investigating fraudulent transactions for external clients
  • Support on hiring, onboarding and growing the Fraud Analyst team to a best in class standard
  • Work in compliance with GeoComply's policies and procedures
  • Liaising with large enterprise digital businesses, to assist them in identifying and solving real-time fraud challenges
  • Analyzing user analytics reports and dashboards, to determine patterns and threat vectors to then provide to customers to fight potential fraud
  • Identifying problems relating to anti-fraud and AML / CFT risks for clients within their reports and programs, and creating meaningful improvements
  • Monitoring client's transactions, identifying, recording and reporting suspicious activity
  • Collaborating on report ideas and system solutions with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with the data science team and machine learning specialists to identify new patterns of fraud and how to detect them.
  • Representing GeoComply in tradeshows and events including in-person client meetings.
  • Ensuring our clients are maintaining compliance.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of experience in a risk management leadership position
  • 6-8 years of experience in online gaming (Daily Fantasy Sports, Online Casinos, Poker, Online Sports Betting)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality of sensitive, complex information
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support a rapidly growing technology company
  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly-effective communication skills (verbal and written skills)Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, and G Suite Programs (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)Data Science skills are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Kibana, Jira, Confluence, Atlassian is an asset.

$88,000 - $121,000 a yearThe typical salary range for this position is from $88000-$121000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including, your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
