THE TEAM

The mission of the Business Support Solution Delivery department is to design, build, deliver and operate robust, efficient and scalable Business Support technology solutions that align with our strategic business and technology goals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and the People Technology team in our Business Support Solution Delivery department is growing with it.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving People technology solutions.

As the Manager, Workforce Planning & Scheduling Technology, you will develop a strategic roadmap for the prioritization, design, development, testing, implementation, and management of workforce planning & scheduling technology solutions that meet business requirements and scale with our accelerating business.

You will work with internal and external partners to lead the delivery of technology projects related to our workforce scheduling system.

THE ROLE

As the Manager, Workforce Planning & Scheduling Technology, you will lead the team to :

  • Collaborate with internal & external partners to identify and deliver innovative technology solutions that meet business needs for today and tomorrow
  • Define & translate business requirements into a scalable, user-centric technology design
  • Ensure the design intent is realized and works seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure
  • Support with the implementation of structure testing that ensures functionality and identify and address deficiencies
  • Support the launch and maintenance of workforce planning & scheduling technology solutions
  • Ensure seamless delivery and management of technology solutions for business partners
  • Work with appropriate partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Manager, Workforce Planning & Scheduling Technology, has :

  • Proven skills, education, and / or applicable certifications in :
  • Workday, Workforce Planning, Scheduling, Time & Absence and / or Human Resource Management Systems
  • Industry specific workforce planning & scheduling technology challenges or automation projects
  • Working with internal and external development teams
  • Gathering requirements and turning them into solution designs
  • A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $140,000-$170,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
