We aim to become the global system of record for creating civic impact. As our QA Analyst, you will directly improve the effectiveness of campaigns for a fairer, more sustainable world, by ensuring that they are unhindered by escaped bugs.

In collaboration with our Engineering Team and reporting into our CTO, you will both work to elevate our Quality Assurance efforts and support us with detection and prevention.

Your Core Objectives / Outcomes Improve the effectiveness of campaigns for a fairer, more sustainable world, by ensuring that they are unhindered by escaped bugs.

Build what modern causes need to empower their supporters, shape public decisions, and win campaigns, by helping to maintain and increase development efficiency.

Power democratic participation wherever the open Internet exists, by testing to ensure that New / Mode tools are accessible, usable across all browsers and devices and properly internationalized.

Your Essential Functions / Responsibilities Detection and prevention of escaped defects in New / Mode code Analyze requirements and use cases to develop test plans and estimate efforts Create, execute, and maintain these test plans with test cases that maximize coverage Set up environments to be used for testing Report on defects and work on end to end resolution of these bugs Participate and be an active member in Agile Activities (Scrum, Demo, Planning, Estimation, etc) Your Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 5+ years of quality assurance testing experience.

Analysis of new software features. Creation and maintenance of thorough software test plans with test cases that maximize coverage.

Methodical and meticulous execution of functional and regression tests. Proven ability to evaluate and document software defects and provide steps for replicating them.

Strong knowledge of functional, regression, usability, accessibility and cross-browser testing strategies for web application development.

Experience with the Agile methodology. Good communication and analytical skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work remotely.

Consumer SaaS experience an asset. Work Locations This position is ideally suited for someone comfortable with remote work. Our ideal candidate is based where we have existing teams : Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal.
