Required Skills :
Strong knowledge of aircraft structures and / or systeminstallations
Knowledge on configuration managementpreliminary sizing design for manufacturing detail design (sheetmetal machined parts piping component assembly) certificationrequirements weight control and industry designstandards.
Energetic with excellent communication andinterpersonal skills a high sense of commitment who is willing toaccept responsibilities and act independently in a highpressurepartner / supplier team.
Must be fluent inEnglish.
Knowledge of French is an asset.
Roles and responsibilities :
Closely interface with stress systems interiors and supportfunctions such as thermodynamics mass properties etc. Reviewstructural and systems layouts installations assembly and detaildrawings.
Manage design changes through all the cyclesof the change management process.
Provide technicalsolutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
Develop and maintain works instructions Generate and execute weightsavings ideas Supply input to impact analysis (technical costschedule)
Support design and program reviews withpartner / suppliers.
Provide status for project andfunctional management.
Support directly otherengineering and operations departments.
Support integration of Team Center and NX part of new PLMinitiative.
