Director, Photonic Integrated Circuits
Director Photonic Integrated Circuit required to work with teams of scientists & engineers responsible for the design, fabrication, test, and packaging of photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
Responsibilities :
- Lead multiple initiatives within the integrated photonics group, offering both managerial and technical guidance.
- Efficiently allocate resources across diverse projects and teams.
- Collaborate with program managers and Integrated Photonics Engineers to ensure alignment with the product roadmap & technical milestones.
- Assist in evaluating design requirements / constraints and guide teams in concept development, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Ensure compatibility between parts and processes throughout the design phase.
- Facilitate cross-training opportunities for team members to foster internal growth.
Requirements :
- Experience the leadership experience in R&D within a company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and sale of complex technology solutions.
- Prior experience with quantum is highly desirable
- Hold an advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in engineering or physics.
- Demonstrate a robust understanding of integrated photonics, including design, fabrication, and testing methodologies.
- Experience in establishing and expanding the research and development function
