Position Description

Emtec is seeking a Salesforce Admin to work with our customer team to collaborate on solutions tailored to their challenges and facilitate Agile delivery of capabilities.

You will be responsible for helping us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring Salesforce.

com, partnering with the teams to improve operational efficiency, and delivering an amazing customer experience. You should have a strong understanding of cloud-based business applications, extensive experience with data management and reporting, and the ability to manage projects across cross-functional teams.

Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us; therefore, the Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management, including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives to identify areas of improvement quickly.

The Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance and communicate, prioritize, and manage all aspects of a Salesforce platform.

Workplace : Remote but will be working in CST; For 100% remote workers, you can expect to travel approximately once per quarter.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • All aspects of user and license management, including new user setup / deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules.
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) : Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
  • Sandbox environment management.
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions focusing on exceptional user experience.
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
  • Proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
  • User support tickets
  • Monitor and improve user adoption.
  • Technical documentation.

Must Have Skills

  • 4+ years of Salesforce administration and configuration experience.
  • Ability to design Objects and Relationships
  • Knows the security model in Salesforce.
  • Understand QA processes.
  • Experience in SQL queries.
  • Experience in working with flows.
  • Know the best practices of process builders.
