Job Description / Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Administration & Box Office Manager, the Theatre Assistant is a helpful, detail-oriented individual responsible for supporting theatre operations during the summer tourism season.
They will learn the day-to-day operations of a theatre while also :
Handling stored archive materials related to the theatre’s history
Preparing and conducting guided tours for visitors
Assisting with special events at theatre including Season Launch
Developing marketing materials and social media content
Qualifications :
Confident with public speaking and presenting in front of a group
Self-motivated, capable of working independently
Basic computer literacy and design skills
An interest in theatre or history previous arts experience is an asset
