The Job
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Portuguese Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Portuguese language and culture, enthusiastic about teaching, and committed to helping students achieve their language learning goals.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Portuguese language lessons to students of various proficiency levels.
- Develop curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments to meet the needs of individual learners and ensure continuous progress.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for the Portuguese language and culture.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their language skills and reach their learning objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall language learning experience and contribute to the development of innovative teaching methodologies.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in language teaching and incorporate them into instructional practices.
The Profile
- Native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese language to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
- Proven experience teaching Portuguese to students of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Passion for language teaching and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
