With an ever-expanding portfolio, they are in search of a talented and motivated General Accountant to join their corporate finance team, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of key deliverables including financial reporting for a variety of entities.
Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Manage full cycle accounting for a variety of entities Cash flow monitoring Bank and investment reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages Review submission of all statutory income tax filing Coordinate with auditors and external accountants, providing supporting documents for year-end review and audit Provide direct assistance and respond to queries from senior management Ad hoc reporting and duties as assigned
Experience & Attributes for Success :
Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or finance Candidates currently enrolled in the CPA program, working towards their designation are strongly preferred Minimum 3 5 years’ working experience, ideally with prior experience in real estate related environments A self-starter, results driven team player and committed professional with analytical, problem solving and communication skills Strong attention to detail, prioritization and meeting tight deadlines in a fast paced, high pressure environment
