Our client is a well established and very successful leader in the transportation industry. Through their various divisions they offer a variety of Transportation solutions and are currently looking for a General Manager for their asset based operations in Hamilton.
Reporting to the Vice President, the General Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the business with specific focus on managing costs, improving efficiency and optimizing resources.
The right person will have significant senior operations leadership experience in the trucking and transportation industry including P&L responsibility.
In addition, the right person will be an innovative, forward thinking leader with strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
