Raise is hiring a Data Analyst - LMS Replacement Project - Phase 2 for Our Client one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.
This position is a four (4) month contract located in Surrey, BC. We are actively seeking talented professionals like you to drive these crucial initiatives forward.
Description
The Data Analyst in this role will support an LMS Replacement Project replacing a resource that is leaving the project on Oct 14th, 2024.
The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills to assist with the backend file loads for SuccessFactors Learning as a part of the LMS Replacement project.
This will involve extracting data from the organizations systems, transforming the data and then validating. The data will be learning data from other learning management systems.
Accountabilities
- Analyze large sets of data by applying qualitative or quantitative techniques using intermediate skills in MS Excel or a data analysis software, to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain clean data by verifying, validating, and filtering data if needed, to meet data quality requirements.
- Optimize the reporting process by developing, implementing, and maintaining database systems that effectively manage information.
- Provide relevant reports to acquiring manager by researching, developing, and presenting findings and possible options to support management in delivering results within scope, time and budget.
Required
- 1 year of directly related work, skilled in developing, implementing, and maintaining database systems for effective information management and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel is a key requirement, especially for handling large datasets and performing data transformations and validations.
- experience with the ability to analyze large datasets using both qualitative and quantitative techniques to support strategic decision-making
- Working knowledge of data analysis programs (e.g., SQL, Python, R) would be beneficial.
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Experience in learning management systems (nice to have)
- Education and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or related disciplineIntermediate MS Office skills (Word and Excel)Working knowledge of data analysis programs, an assetStrong communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills would be valuable assets.
Additional Information
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 10 or 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own Smart Phone . This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
