National Sales Manager- Canada
The National Sales Manager is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership in all areas of regional sales . Individual coordinates and facilitates activities relating to sales in all areas of Jonti -Craft products within Canadian Provinces (excluding BC) .
This includes defining and analyzing current and emerging markets, setting sales goals, generating, and following up on existing accounts and working on prospective sales .
It also includes providing education for customers and coordinating multiple sales functions relating to but not limited to all Canadian Provinces .
This is a highly visible and complex role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail and quality . The position requires the ability to work effectively within a highly technical, diverse and competitive marketplace .
25-75% travel required depending on time of year . Balance of work will take place in a home office .
Essential Functions
- Analyzes and drives strategy development for our customers and sales market.
- Works with the Vice President of Sales to create plans to implement key initiatives designed to increase profitable and positive sales.
- Coordinates and works with the Vice President of Sales to develop and set performance goals and outlines the plan to achieve these goals.
- Effectively manages all accounts assigned to them.
- Researches, targets and seeks out new sales opportunities within Canadian Provinces .
- Works with the Vice President of Sales to design internal processes to make our selling approach more effective and most efficient.
- Investigates, justifies, and secures all new and existing sales accounts for Jonti -Craft.
- Works with the marketing department to develop customer sales presentations and materials used to educate our customers in all areas of the Jonti -Craft product line.
- Works with the Vice President of Sales to identify , coordinate and attend trade shows that are imperative to the success of Jonti -Craft sales.
- Ensures positive, helpful and timely relations with all customers.
- Works closely with Customer Relations and the sales chain to communicate forecast changes and developments relating to sales.
- Identifies critical business opportunities, risks, issues and trends.
- Draws conclusions, presents findings and makes recommendations to the Vice President of Sales regarding new business opportunities, efficiencies, and sales goals.
- Consults with leadership team to foster and develop any improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
- Four-year bachelor's degree preferred .
- Three years' previous industry experience required with outside sales experience preferred.
- Position requires flexible hours including some weekends
- Excellent project and sales management skills required .
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and drive processes with numerous interdependencies.
- Working knowledge of the Early Learning and Child Care Infrastructure Fund from Budget 2021 and 2022
- Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in French and English .
- A valid passport and ability to enter the U.S. is required .
- Ability to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
- Based in Ontario / Quebec preferred.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language for safety purposes.
