Responsibilities :

  • Managing the performance of the sales team through establishing and achieving ambitious goals, completion of tasks, and producing results that support company objectives.
  • Developing sales strategies and providing guidance to ensure a high level of productivity.
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge and the ability to position the product to effectively meet physician needs.
  • Maintaining an awareness of the industry and competition product profiles, in order to convey the competitive advantages of the company’s products versus competitors.
  • Providing leadership to the sales team, as well as ensuring team development through feedback, encouragement, and the opportunity to take accountability and ownership of tasks.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Assisting with any relevant sales activities that lead to the team’s success.

The Ideal Candidate Brings :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, would be considered an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, along with 2 or more years of experience in sales management.
  • Strong communication skills, including bilingualism (French / English).
  • Excellent public speaking, organizational, and leadership skills.
