We are seeking an additional experienced Network Specialist to join our highly technical Network Services team.
Reporting to the Network Supervisor, the Network Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of public safety and critical 911 voice networks. This position is responsible for providing second-level network support, troubleshooting advanced network issues, performing proactive maintenance, and documenting network activities. The Network Specialist will also participate in the implementation, support, tuning, and management of enterprise-wide, life-critical networks and services, helping to maintain E-Comm's high standards of reliability for its partners.
Key to your success will be proven experience with VPN, Cloud networks, routing protocols, Cisco ISE, CISCO switches / routers and Paulo Alto firewalls. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to E-Comm’s life-critical network services, supporting public safety across our community.

Security Requirements :
As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 5 years.
To qualify for this process, a candidate may be either a Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen. We regret any candidates under Student, Visitor, or Work Visas are not eligible for consideration.
