Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., 40 hours a week.

Salary from 58k to 70k per year depending on experience

3 weeks vacation

Responsibilities

Duties in the area of civil litigation :

Research court rulings and legal doctrine relating to cases.

Draft and revise various pleadings, legal opinions and formal notices according to the preferences of the lawyer in charge of the file.

Contribute actively to the preparation of representations before the courts.

Prepare, assemble and distribute the documents required for each trial, in accordance with the expectations of the parties and courts involved.

Corporate law

Actively participate in the restructuring and incorporation of companies

information gathering, preparation of closing agendas, organization charts,

agreements, resolutions, rollover forms, etc.);

Actively participate in setting up trusts (agreements and resolutions).

Draft and / or revise shareholder agreements, as well as various commercial contracts, while participating in negotiations.

Manage the schedule for drafting and monitoring annual resolutions, as well as updating our customers' corporate books, in collaboration with government authorities.

Qualifications

DEP in paralegal techniques

3 years' experience as a paralegal

High level of writing skills

Bilingualism an asset

Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Intellectual rigor, creative sense and good judgment;

Skills in family law, advocacy and negotiation would be an asset.
