What YOU Will Do
The Process and Document SystemsAnalyst plays a critical role in the success of majorprojects by ensuring the efficiency and optimization of document control,content review and distribution, and design production processes.
This includesimplementing and maintaining systems to securely record, maintain, track anddistribute relevant documentation to project teams.
You will help to ensurecompliance with standards and smooth project progress by ensuring thatinformation is always accurate, up-to-date and accessible to the right people.
- Configure and customize project management systems in collaboration with technical and project management teams, to meet project requirements.
- Define the implementation strategy, testing strategy and impact analysis. Define the process and evaluate the impacts on the business.
- Assist users in defining their change requests, document problems to be corrected if necessary, and work closely with functional analysts to specify requirements for these change requests.
- Monitor the performance of project management systems, identifying potential improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead the operational deployment of systems and provide training to project teams, ensuring successful adoption and effective use.
- Validate and comment on files (functional specifications, impact studies, etc.) produced by Maintenance and Development teams.
- Carry out acceptance testing for new developments and functional enhancements to our systems.
- Make recommendations for the integration of information and document management systems.
- After the launch phase, act as a support for users to help them orient themselves with information management.
What YOU Will Bring
- Position located in Montreal (and around);
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-graduate diploma in Construction Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with a focus on project management systems.
- Proven experience(min. 8 years of relevant experience) in the use of project information systems, including Aconex, ProjectWise, SharePoint, Autodesk, or similar tools.
- Experience in a major project role related to information management (asset).
- Proficiency in software configuration, with the ability to adapt and optimize project management systems according to specific project needs.
- Excellent communication and training skills, able to guide and support project teams in technology adoption.
- Deep understanding of construction project workflows and BIM processes, able to work effectively in complex project environments.
- Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written).
