What are your contributions to the team?
- Optimize the logistics in direct support to the Production team
- Monitor the purchased and manufactured shortages and resolving them with the Internal Logistics and Suppliers team
- Ensure visibility to the production team on the resolution of shortages
- Comply with the operational processes, the employee performance management and development processes, while developing a mobilizing and winning work climate
- Define Logistics KPIs & governance, ensure proper training and development of team members
- Build and develop of the Logistics team based on the operational needs
- Optimize internal and external processes
- Promote and act as a leader for Operational Excellence implementation
- Ensure the compliance with the Manufacturing Strategy and the achievement of the highest Logistics standards
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Administration, Operations Management and or three (3) years of relevant experience in Logistics
- You are fully bilingual (English and French) written and spoken
- You have experience in Logistics
- You are knowledgeable with SAP and / or BAAN would be an asset
- You possess good leadership in managing major initiatives involving working with internal and external partners, in a context of new product industrialization
- You have the capacity to work with concepts and translate them into solid execution plans, good project management skills
- You are recognized for your leadership, your communication and your coaching skills, for your ability to mobilize and engage a team
- You have experience in the Aerospace Industry and the understanding of the aircraft and its components would be an asset
- You are proficient with the Microsoft Suite
