Description
- Building a cohesive team, providing comprehensive training, fostering engagement, and delivering performance coaching as needed.
- Manage inventory procurement, receiving, and maintenance across all outlets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet event requirements and logistics.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and creatively to uphold their reputation for exceptional service.
- Ensure availability of cash floats and maintain cash security.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all outlets and equipment.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with the Team & Culture Department.
- Collaborate on weekly scheduling with Shift Leads and the Manager Food & Beverage, Catering.
- Conduct monthly inventory of front-of-house goods.
- Uphold service standards for all park functions.
- Demonstrate and promote safety practices in accordance with WinSport policies.
- Address and report safety hazards promptly.
- Review and ensure compliance with OH&S notices and protocols.
- Conduct safety orientation for new and returning employees.
- Complete weekly scheduling along with Shift Leads and the Manager Food & Beverage, Catering.
- Conduct monthly inventory of all front-of-the-house goods (all beverages and packaged goods)
Requirements
Experience
- Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration or other related fields of study.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Proven strong customer service experience in the service industry.
Skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in organizational and time management.
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
Certification
- ProSeve Certification or equivalent for alcohol service.
- Food safety certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent.
- Any other relevant certifications related to hospitality management or food and beverage operations.
- Class 5 Drivers License
Other Requirements
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and carrying.
