About Our Client
Our client, a well-established company in the Security Solutions and Specialty Hardware industry, is looking to hire a dynamic Technical Sales Support Specialist to join their team.
This position is ideal for someone who has a great attitude, exceptional customer support skills, some technical skills, preferably in locksmithing or a related discipline and is a team player.
This person will be an integral part of the team, providing technical support and know-how to other CSRs in the office.
Responsibilities
The Technical Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to the following :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from sales team members and customers.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance, including product demonstrations, presentations, and solution proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct product training sessions for internal staff and external customers.
- Assist with the development of sales collateral, technical documentation, and marketing materials.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role :
- Strong sales and customer service experience
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of security products and / or locksmithing
- Inside Sales experience in locking systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using a CRM system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Team player
- Experience in Security Solutions or the Specialist Hardware industry is an asset
