Senior Business Analyst - Telus Health Care Centers

Description

To effectively support our medical equipment and clinical infrastructure across our national network of TELUS Health Care Centers (THCC) and to streamline and standardize our medical equipment portfolio to reduce operational risks, we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst.

This team member will collaborate with four other Senior Business Analysts and will be responsible for managing our national medical equipment portfolio.

They will also oversee coordination with various TELUS subject matter experts (SMEs) to implement new equipment and provide expertise on strategic projects to align with our long-term clinical growth plan and facility management objectives.

Additionally, this team member will comprehensively handle all clinical maintenance requests related to medical equipment and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic projects.

Key deliverables & duties

• Act as a national SME for all medical equipment support request and an ambassador to our THCC Transformational Program
• Lead medical equipment sourcing, delivery and deployment projects all the way through clinical operationalization
• Maintain a dashboard of all activities progress pertaining to each strategic initiatives
• Support the creation of a national medical equipment standard by performing in-depth market and sourcing exercice and securing internal stakeholder input
• Support holistically our clinical growth plan by accelerating the deployment of new equipment and technology within our care centres
• Perform an in-depth privacy and security analysis and pre-deployment due diligence on all new medical equipment by interlocking with TELUS SME team members
• Coordinate training effort and support Standard Operational Procedure (SOP)’s communication to every stakeholder and foster better clinical team members engagement and knowledge
• Analyze, document and validate business requirements from business users and function specification requirements using interviews, document analysis, task and workflow analysis
• Interface between business and technical teams and translate technical and business requirements into operationalizable procedures
• Communicates with project managers, subject matter experts, end users and Senior Executive
• Performs analysis for projects with some impact on and risk to customer service or revenue generation
• Typically works on multiple, unrelated strategic projects simultaneously
• Understands industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

Required Skills

• University degree in a relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Bilingualism - Strongly preferred
• Strong project management and business analysis skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent abilities to communicate clearly and effectively, adapting to the communication level required by each stakeholder
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in medical environments (Nice to have)
