Business Analyst (Process/IAM)
Our client in the education sector is looking for a contract based Business Analyst with a specialization in process efficiency as part of theri Identiy and Access Management implementation program.
Location : Mainly remote with occasional visit to St. Catherines officeDuration : 6 months to startResponsibilities : Process Documentation and Analysis : Develop detailed process flow diagrams that map out all business processes.
Analyze these processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Value Chain Assessment : Conduct value chain analyses to determine the effectiveness of business processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.
Efficiency Analysis : Utilize various analytical tools and methodologies to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.
Recommend improvements based on quantitative and qualitative data.IAM Project Involvement : Work closely with the IT security team on IAM projects, ensuring that business process integration is seamless and meets all security standards.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and ensure that business needs are met in the process documentation and improvement proposals.
Change Management : Assist in the implementation of new processes or process changes, including training and communication to stakeholders and process users.
Reporting and Communication : Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate process analysis findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements : 5+ years of experience as a Process Business Analyst, with proven skills in creating detailed process flow diagrams and conducting efficiency and value chain analyses.
Strong understanding of and experience with IAM projects, preferably in a similar industry.Proficient in process mapping and business process reengineering.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical IT staff and business stakeholders.
Experience with business analysis tools and software, such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar for process diagramming.Knowledge of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) is highly desirable.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).Experience in project management and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
