Merchandiser -North Vancouver

Our North Vancouver, BC facility is looking to hire an immediate temporary merchandiser to join our expanding team!

You will make a great fit if you have a background in a fast-paced distribution environment and can work efficiently in a warehouse setting.

Previous Merchandising experience is considered an asset.

Shift : Sunday- Thursday

Time : 10 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM (graveyard shift)

Wage : $20 an hour + 4% vacation pay

Area : North Vancouver

This is a full-time position, the ideal candidate will need to be available to start immediately

You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities

• Merchandising
• Operating pallet jack to load and unload the items
• Capping bins, stocking picks, completing section work
• Completing modular activities all in a safe and clean environment.
• Material handling duties; Loading and unloading the items
• Ensuring items are accurately picked and identified to avoid discrepancies
• Adhering to all safety and equipment regulations, and maintaining a clean work environment
• General warehouse maintenance and up keep

Qualifications

• You bring a minimum of 6 months in a warehouse or fast paced distribution environment
• You are capable to work in a fast paced distribution environment with speed, reliability and accuracy
• Fast Learner and can work with efficiency
• Can follow set of instructions and safety procedures as required
• Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
• Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
• You can meet the shift and schedule requirements
• You can meet the physical requirements; lift, move product / supplies in excess of 50lbs (pushing, pulling, bending, standing for 8 hours)
• You have Steel Toed Shoes
• You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia
