Role Overview :

veritree is seeking a Science & Research Coordinator to support the development of nature technology research and data methodologies. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong interest in impact measurement in nature restoration. The role will contribute to research, copyediting, data analysis, and science operations while gaining experience at the intersection of technology and restoration science.

6 Month Key Outcomes (6mKOs)

• Clean and analyze data : Process sensor and survey datasets from veritree’s restoration projects to generate actionable insights.
• Research proposal development : Draft proposals to support R&D initiatives and external funding opportunities.
• Product and data systems proficiency : Develop working knowledge of veritree’s products and data systems to independently pull reports / data and respond to internal and customer requests.
• Documentation and reporting : Create clear, concise internal documentation about our projects, internal workflows, and processes. Also, create impact reports for our corporate partners.

veritree ensures that compensation is reviewed fairly and consistently, with opportunities for salary progression tied to sustained performance. As such, the salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 CAD.

This range is positioned around the 50th-75th percentile of market data we’ve collected, reflecting our commitment to competitive pay. Final offer amounts are based on individual experience and skillset of the candidate demonstrated during the recruitment process.
