Our client is a family-owned food manufacturing company in Vaughan, Ontario, experiencing rapid growth. With a deep-rooted passion for quality and tradition, the company is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join its team.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and play a key role in driving HR strategies that support the company’s growth and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy Development : Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Employee Relations : Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning : Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent, particularly in manufacturing and production roles.

Collaborate on succession planning and workforce development.

  • Performance Management : Lead performance management initiatives, including regular reviews, goal setting, and coaching for employees across all levels of the organization.
  • Training & Development : Identify training needs and partner with leadership to develop and implement employee development programs that promote continuous learning and growth.
  • HR Compliance : Ensure all HR policies and procedures are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and industry best practices.
  • Change Management : Lead change management initiatives as the company continues to grow, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with company culture and values.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting : Track and report key HR metrics to leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred but not required.
