Position : Avionics Engineer
Location : Abbotsford, BC
Salary : TBD

Employment Term : Full Time / Permanent
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Design, develop and implement avionics systems for aircraft, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for avionics projects providing technical expertise
- Write and interpret electrical specifications related to the aircraft
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and functionality of avionics systems
- Develop and maintain documentation including system requirements, design specifications and testing procedures
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams during the production and operation phases
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to existing systems and processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Avionics Engineering or Technology
- 3+ years of experience in Aircraft Electrical / Avionics Engineering
- Solid knowledge of Engineering principles and Project Management
- Understanding of Global Positioning Systems and Traffic Collison Avoidance System
- Knowledge of digital instruments and navigation systems needed
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, standards, and procedures
- Familiarity with safety-critical systems and risk management
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
