Overview
Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role at Synechron. We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA automation within large-scale enterprise Agile environments, demonstrating leadership in planning, executing, and supporting comprehensive testing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute testing activities across multiple projects in an Agile setting.
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases, scripts, and automation frameworks.
- Conduct functional, API, database, and non-functional testing (performance, load, security, usability, compatibility).
- Integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality delivery.
- Support legacy system transformation initiatives by implementing modern testing approaches.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and data analytics teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Lead and mentor QA team members, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes in a complex stakeholder environment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (8+ years with Bachelor’s, 10+ years with Diploma).Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior QA role on the same Agile project.Proven experience in planning, writing, and executing manual and automated test cases / scripts.Strong expertise in API testing and implementing testing within CI / CD pipelines for large-scale enterprise environments.Hands-on experience with database testing, including data conversion testing.Demonstrated success in establishing and supporting automation test scripts in complex enterprise settings.Proficiency in non-functional testing types : load, performance, security, usability, compatibility, and end-to-end testing.Experience working as a senior QA on large-scale enterprise Agile teams (15+ members).Preferred
Experience transforming legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases.Familiarity with data analytics tools / methodologies to derive insights from data.Experience using Jira, Example Mapping, and Dual-Track development methodologies.Proven leadership in managing QA teams of three or more members in large enterprise environments.Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in complex, multi-stakeholder projects.We offer
