Inventory Specialist / Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a distributor of consumer products (located in Lachine), is looking for an experienced Inventory Specialist / Logistics Coordinator to add to their team!
Responsibilities :
- Monitoring and managing the reporting of pickers for daily location movements
- Tracking, logging and management of inventory listings - relocations, movements, alternate warehouses and accuracy
- Managing warehouse space - re receiving of goods per location and priority
- Tracking and trafficking inbound shipments - re timing, deliveries and space priority
- Creating and issuing of receiving reports
- Reviewing accuracy and integrity of received goods and advising management of inaccuracies or issues
- Tracking, issuing and entries for inventory discrepancies and other transactions
- Arrange pickups for empty containers
- Initiating and coordinating the movement of inventory between locations per order requirements
- Initiating and overseeing inventory cycle counts and ensuring accuracy of actuals to system
- Consulting, advising with management regarding cycle counts
- Department assistant for new system development and installation - warehousing
- Creating and issuing landed cost - verifying CBM and freight forwarded cost for accuracy
- Update and review purchase orders receiving dates for report accuracy
- Creating conversions for product - verifying receipt and cost to confirm correct connection
- Monitoring and managing chep qquipment
- Managing warehousing location - creating / locking / holding
- Keep backups of amazon and .com items created as solids, 1 or mixes
