What is the opportunity?
As a Commercial Service Advisor, you will support the commercial clients across Canada. Your excellent customer service skills added with your solid knowledge of RBC Applications and systems is what will help you build and maintain client relationships.
The selected candidate will investigate and respond to a wide range of daily service requests, on the customer's behalf.
The work schedule will be Monday to Friday, between 7 : 00am to 7 : 00pm following region business hours, however it may be subject to change based on evolving business needs.
This role supports the Greater Toronto Region. Please note that this role requires currently 2 days on site monthly, subject to change.
What will you do?
- Accountable for completing banking services and transactions accurately and efficiently within and / or exceeding established Customer Service Commitment (CSC) targets.
- Take ownership and accountability for the resolution of complex issues and concerns at the first point of contact.
- Ensure all authorities for the role (delegated authorities, EAR, systems access etc.) are adhered to, reviewed and understood.
- Keep up to date on all communications including changes to RBC policy and procedures especially on-boarding and operational procedures.
- Exercises due diligence in following operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
- Take full accountability for quality and accuracy of day-to-day job responsibilities, tasks and activities ensuring a balanced focus on enhanced client experience, efficiency and effectiveness and operational risk.
- Leverage the CFS relationship team to deliver a best-in-class servicing and where appropriate on-boarding experience for existing clients.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Candidates must be available for all business hours between 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
- May be asked to work Overtime and Statutory Holidays based on business needs.
- Agility to respond to urgent and / or complicated tasks.
- Adaptability to changing processes, tools and client demands.
- Keenness and willingness to continually learn as new processes, tools, products are implemented, or similar roles within the Specialized Service Group
- Comfort with dealing with clients, by phone or email, as the first point of contact
- Willingness to work from home and the office for a predetermined number of days, understanding that RBC working from home guidelines may change and willing to comply to them.
- Willingness to remain with the role for at least 18 months.
Nice-to-have
- College and / or university degree / diploma in any discipline
- Knowledge of Business Financial Services products, processes and applicable systems applications (Sales Platform, Service Platform, SCM, RBC Express, etc.)
- Experience and comfort working in an operations environment where client's needs, and operational targets drive daily activities or changes focus.
